Katherine E Roberts, MS, ATC, LAT — St. Gertrude High School
Katie graduated from High Point University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, which she followed with internships at Villanova University where she had the pleasure of working with the football and baseball teams. She also spent time at Virginia Commonwealth University working with the women’s volleyball and tennis teams.
Katie attended Graduate School at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and worked as a Graduate Assistant, primarily with the field hockey and softball teams. She went on to graduate with a Masters in Sports Management. Later that year, Katie began working as a full time assistant athletic trainer at Randolph Macon College, working with the field hockey, women’s soccer, swimming and men’s lacrosse teams.
After one year with the Jackets, Katie began her journey with Bon Secours Sports Medicine, beginning at Armstrong High School and now currently working at St. Gertrude High School. Through all of these experiences, Katie has also had the pleasure of working with USA Indoor Field Hockey, touring with both the men’s and women’s teams around the world. She has worked for multiple organizations, including US Tennis Association, University of Richmond, USA Field Hockey, and a west coast tour with the Richmond Kickers.
