Debra Cochran, MS, VATL, LAT, ATC – Deep Run High School

Debra is our Certified Athletic Trainer at Deep Run High School. She received her Master’s of Kinesiology degree from Kansas State University and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Buena Vista University. Debra has more than seven years of athletic training experience with athletes in multiple sports, at both the collegiate and high school levels. Debra is nationally certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and licensed by the Virginia State Board of Medicine.
Debra grew up working on the family farm in Iowa. She enjoys running, playing volleyball, and hiking with her dog.

Debra grew up on a farm in Iowa and got her B.S. in Athletic Training from Buena Vista University, followed with graduate school, gaining her Masters in Kinesiology from Kansas State University. She has 7 years of athletic training experience with multiple sports. Debra moved to Richmond in July 2010 and work for Bon Secours Health Systems. She is currently the ATC at Deep Run High School.
